Thats Whats Up

So lately life has been going really well. Spring break was nice and the best part was getting news I had an interview the Monday I got back. It was with DVPE (Durkin Vallalta Partners Engineering). This is a local company that does engineering work for local Indy schools and businesses. I won't bore you with all the technical mumbo-jumbo. I hope it goes well it is a small company and I believe I would really enjoy the work.

Other great news UK is killing the NCAA Tournament and is winning by an average of 29.5 points. They picked up two big recuits today as well. Enes Kanter a 7' 265lb Turkish big man and a 5'6" Undisclosed lbs JACQUELINE PINAIRE for Physical Therapy! I'm so proud of her and I know she is happy to have all the stress gone and be happy to find a location in which she likes. Despite what some will think I put all basketball and love for the college to the side and we sat down and looked at the facts. UK has a #38 PT school in the nation (highest of all the schools she applied) and she liked the department and hospital.

So Phi Kappa Psi is really disappointing me of late. Talked with a few alumni (Unnamed) and we are all feeling the same. It isn't what it use to me. I maybe an idealist but we have lost a lot of what we were founded on. We weren't the most productive ppl but I feel we lost what we stood for. We have let in some questionable people, which is also my fault but we focus on ##'s so much that we have lost the quality of what we bring in. It also doesn't help that I put a TON of faith in Phi Psi to move into the house and NO ONE has stepped up. Seriously is disturbing how far we have fallen. I'm not stuck praying that my landlord isn't a complete dick and lets us get rid of 1/2 the house for the second 1/2 of the lease.

Done Bithcing :D.... I want to start letting ppl know how much they mean to me. I got this idea for something Areef had done by sending out letters to people that have meant something to him. I want to do something similar especially with family that I respect and love just to reminded them what they have meant to me and done for me. I hope to get started with this but with everything going on I have mearly 6-7 weeks till the real world punches me in the face. As with life though it is exciting and a 'Rite of Passage' everyone must take. Here is to praying for the best..

OH! I'm so excited about the next 2 weekends of My Grandma's 85th Birthday and then Easter! I love family!
